Thank you for visiting my webpage and taking the time to get to know me a little better. I grew up here in the beautiful Northeast Kingdom of Vermont. My most vivid childhood memories are those of exploring the beautiful outdoors. I started skiing at Burke Mountain at age two and literally lived on the ski slopes every winter. I was a member of the Burke Mountain Junior Racing Program and, ironically, was coached by Burke Mill Properties owner / broker Andrea Kupetz and her husband John. This experience was the basis for me returning to the Kingdom to raise my two children. I wanted my kids to have the same opportunity that I had been afforded thirty years earlier.
My professional background is quite diverse. After graduating from the University of Vermont, I moved to the foothills of Colorado to attend graduate school. I then became the Director of Finance for a large pharmacy corporation which eventually relocated me to Florida. Then, in 1999, I decided to move home at which time I bought a century old country store. Since then, I have bought and sold several other businesses in the Northeast Kingdom. I continue to own and operate Bailey’s & Burke Country Store in the heart of East Burke Village.
While our business ventures keep me very busy, they also put me in constant contact with the community. This was a key factor in my decision to become a REALTOR®; I knew I would be able to offer a unique perspective to both buyers and sellers as they navigated the Burke area real estate market.
Burke and the surrounding area is truly a gem. Kingdom Trails has become one of the most sought after mountain biking destinations in the world. Burke Mountain Ski Area has recently been purchased by The Ginn Company and they have already started large scale improvements. Additionally, we have many great lakes and enjoy some of the best schools in the country…Burke Mountain Academy is an internationally renowned ski racing school that has produced several Olympians. Burke is the perfect place for families to relocate or find their dream vacation home.
