Welcome to my website.  I would like to tell you a little about myself and this area of Vermont known as the Northeast Kingdom.  I grew up in East Burke and started skiing on Burke Mountain soon after I could walk.  My Great Grandfather, Grandfather and Father all spent much of their lives running a lumber mill here in East Burke Village by the Dam, so upon building my first office by the dam, it seemed appropriate to name it Burke Mill Properties.

I have been selling real estate for the past 30 years and have had my own business for the last 20 years.  We just finished building a new office on the right as you come into the village of East Burke. It is very exciting to be in a new and beautiful space.  We are located 5 miles north of Exit 23 on Interstate 91, and that makes Burke very easy to get to from many suburban areas.

My husband came to this area to teach at Lyndon Institue and ended up taking the position as Ski School Director at Burke Mountain, where we met and taught and coached skiing for many years.  Our 4 children were all ski racers and still enjoy skiing today.  They have left the area and reside in Alaska, Montana and Idaho where there are many great recreations all year.  Having grown up in Vermont, they all have an appreciation and thirst for the great out doors.  When they come home to visit, they always comment on how beautiful it is here.

East Burke has been a quiet little ski village for many years and those who found us are continuing to come back every year.  Two years ago Burke Mountain was purchased by The Ginn Company, who are very well known in Florida and have created many high end Resorts and Golf communities.  They are now reaching out to the Bahamas, the Virgin Islands and Colorado as well as Vermont.  They have made many improvements to the Mountain and have incredible plans for future development here.  Everyone I have had the opportunity to speak with who knows anything about Ginn and their Resorts have only good things to say.  Our community is excited about the future plans.

In the Spring, Summer and Fall we have become world renowned for our "single track" mountain biking trails and the organization called Kingdom Trails. We are seeing people from all over the world come here to enjoy our little corner of paradise.   Many come here for the Mt. biking and learn that there is a ski area here as well, and the young professionals and young families, like my own children, are excited about buying property here and enjoying that year round recreation.
